Yom HaAtzmaut Israel’s Independence Day is May 8-9!
Join us for a fun and delicious Israeli cooking demonstration. Learn some wonderful recipes to help you and your family celebrate Israel’s Independence that are also healthy and delicious for any day of the year! Debbie will be demonstrating all the cooking and always has wonderful comments on the spices and how and where these recipes originated.
Attendees will be tasting and going home with copies of the following recipes:
Fattoush Salad - with Arugula, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Feta Cheese and Zatar Pita Croutons
Moroccan Dukkah - a dry dip with Almonds, Sesame Seeds, Nigella seeds, Cumin and Salt
Bastilla Chicken - (One of Debbie’s Favorites) shredded Chicken with Cinnamon, Turmeric, Nutmeg, Raisins, Almonds, and lots of Caramelized Onions cooked in Phyllo Dough
